Looking for an excellent motivational book to light your inspirational fires and get you going where you need to be. Go get Simon T. Bailey’s new book “Shift Your Brilliance” and grab a highlighter or two! And if you are like me and like to read in order – be sure to get his first book “Release Your Brilliance”.
Simon Bailey, motivational speaker and creator of the awesome Be Brilliant philosophy, has written another great motivational read. What I like best about Simon?s books are two things:
1) The totally genuine human experience he brings to the table (you can visualize yourself in his examples of everyday people and people we read about in the world).
2) You can apply his wisdom and practical tools not only in your work life but in your personal life or passions as well.
To quote a well-known line from the movie Jerry McGuire “You had me at hello,” I’d like to say Simon “You had me on page 9” — I don’t know why, but this sentence spoke to me and grabbed my attention to keep reading: “The posture and disposition of audacious living is to possess a daring attitude of confidence with a high disregard for conformity, conventional thinking, or common existence – Audacious men and women are bold in their beliefs and convictions.”
The book offers short assessments or surveys of how you are thinking, how you need to think to make the changes or shifts in your life that you were born to do. I love the chapter “Harness the Power of You, Inc.”
I guarantee this book will not only be a fascinating read (and enlightening about yourself and what you can do to achieve your goals), but one that can help you be the brilliant you that YOU are meant to be! For almost a decade I have published Simon’s motivational articles in our monthly e-newsletters, and I feel honored to do so.
