Are you ready for your next career step and happen to be sending out a lot of resumes to interesting opportunities? We know you have used spell-check, so let’s do a little extra proofing to make sure your resume is just right!

Double check these two areas on your resume. It can ensure your first impression is flawless.

1) Print your resume out one or two times to make sure it prints exactly as it looks to you on the screen. So for example, paragraphs are not moving, spacing and formatting are all proper.

2) Secondly, now that you have printed your resume check that all fonts and styles are consistent throughout each of your job presentations and that you have provided the similar information, Company Name, Years Worked, Job Title, etc.

Taking the time to do these two extra proofs can move your resume to the top of the pile!
