Executive search is an important investment, and we recommend and welcome a thorough discussion and meeting so you understand our commitment to hard work and serious research. We love to check in to ensure everything is going well. After every search, SHRS thoroughly follows up during the first year with both client and candidate, making sure everyone’s interests have been met.


Our “7-Steps to Success” Process

  1. POSITION PROFILE
    In-depth analysis of position specifications, careful gathering of requirements with a results-oriented focus, which effectively “sells” company attributes so the most successful candidate is retained.
  2. RESEARCH
    Strategic planning for the most effective means for sourcing target candidates. Extensive integration of industry resources, virtual communities, SHRS networks and proven cold-calling techniques.
  3. PHONE SCREENING
    Supported by an extensive database of candidates and companies, potential candidates are actively sought from direct competitors and parallel industries located locally, regionally or nationally.
  4. INTERVIEWING & ASSESSMENT
    The most important step in the process. We implement customized, job-targeted questions from our profile to interview the best candidates from our research.
  5. REFERENCE CHECKS
    We conduct three formal reference checks (past supervisors only) on all presented candidates.
  6. NEGOTIATIONS
    Consultation and negotiation of all elements surrounding an employment offer. “Hands-on” involvement to ensure that the identified candidate gets hired and stays hired.
  7. 90-DAYS-OR-LESS FOLLOW-UP
    We check in within the first three months of employment to assess the fit and to assist your company in any way. We then follow-up at regular intervals through the year.
